Keep in mind that
any rules are established for the sole purpose of protecting your children.
It takes parents, community members and school staff working together to make
sure the students' safety is made a priority. With this in mind, please
review the following:
Please drive
cautiously around school employees while they are directing traffic and
assisting students. Their safety is also a priority.
U-turns in front
of the elementary/middle school create a hazardous situation.
The bike lane
along Grape Creek Road is reserved for bicycles and pedestrians only
to ensure their safety.
Please avoid parking along the sides of Tokay
Road. This is private property and there have been complaints from
homeowners concerning this.
Cars left
unattended while in the student pickup or drop off lines cause the flow of
traffic to slow or stop moving altogether. Please help us keep the lines
moving for the benefit of all vehicular traffic.
Children should
not be dropped off before 7:15 am to ensure they are properly supervised.
Again, this is to provide the students the best and safest situation
possible.
Please use
designated crosswalks at all times and require your children to do so also
for their protection.
