Biomes Part 1. Using the research connections listed below, develop a definition of the word biome. Using the research connections listed below, identify the characteristics of the biomes listed and place the information in your data table that is found on the student answer sheet. The following characteristics should be included for each biome: the approximate latitude, annual precipitation, average annual temperature, plants (and their adaptations) and animals (and their adaptations) that live in each biome and one additional piece of pertinent information. On two separate sheets of copy paper, make a sketch of two of the biomes. Your sketch should depict plants found in the biome as well as the animals and typical terrain. When you have completed your project, you should print out your student page and turn it in with your two sketches stapled to it.
